Boko Haram: FG must show political will to eliminate menace

President Goodluck Jonathan and the 'ghosts' Boko HaramThe Federal Government has been told that its failure to exhibit strong political will in dealing with the Boko Haram insurgency in the country was responsible for the group assuming that they are gaining a upper hand.

Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Audu-Bida (rtd), who made the disclosure, weekend, also described the Nigerian Military as a competent force with the training, desire and capability that only needs the political support and motivation to defeat terrorism in the country.

The former Director General of National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, noted that the Nigerian Airforce on its part is fully capable of dealing with the situation once and for all if allowed to.

AVM Audu Bida who was speaking on the activities of The International Emergency Management Society, TIEMS, with regards to managing disasters more proactively in the North eastern region of the country, expressed sadness about the mayhem and wanton killings as well as senseless destruction going on in the Northeast

His words: It is a sad thing that the terrorists group can hold usto ransom in this country with the capability of armed forces, whose exploits in Liberia and Sierra-Leone has remained a world record till today.

On the Ebola epidemic, AVM Audu-Bida, said that the Federal Government should immediately take a cautionary step by closing all the borders until the situation is stabilised.

Knowing our culture, it is possible that so many Nigerians living in Liberia, Sierra Leone and other African countries would want to rush back home to escape the Ebola scourge and if this is not stopped, the impact will be disastrous because we dont have the wherewithal to handle such a challenge. So the best thing is to close the borders in the interim he said. The military capacity to deal with the terrorist threats is not in doubt, they are competent and well trained, but what is needed is the political will, even on that it is very difficult and requires cooperation of all stakeholders and arms of government, especially the National Assembly.

Tiwa Savage looking Beautiful in White Dress at NEA Awards

She is one of the very best female musician in Nigeria and Tiwa Savage is fast becoming a fashion icon, as she has remained consistent in her sense of style in recent times. The pix above is how beautiful she looked in a Laquan Smith Nova white dress to the Nigerian Entertainment Award. Nice!

Thousands flee to Cameroon as Boko Haram conscripts youths to fight Nigeria

A picture taken on August 21, 2014 shows Internally Displaced People (IDP) receiving food in Madagali camp in Nigeria's northeastern Adamawa State. Mostly women and children, the IDPs in Madagali fled their homes in Gwoza, Borno State, to neighbouring Adamawa State following incessant attacks by Islamists insurgents Boko Haram. Nearly 11,500 people from one town in northeast Nigeria are receiving emergency aid after fleeing Boko Haram militants, the country's main relief agency said on on August 21. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said 11,442 men, women and children from Gwoza in Borno state had been registered at two facilities for displaced people in neighbouring Adamawa state. The Islamists took over Gwoza, which lies near the border with Cameroon, on August 7 and NEMA said the town was "still under siege". AFP PHOTOFollowing sustained Boko Haram attacks in the North-Eastern part of the country, thousands of Nigerians have been forced to flee their homes, swamping towns in the north of neighbouring Cameroon, authorities said yesterday. This came as Boko Haram terrorists, for three days, laid siege to Gamboru town, forcefully conscripting youths to fight both the Nigerian and Cameroonian troops. They were said to have killed those who resisted them.

After the three-day attack, 29 persons were killed, while 215 of the youths, who fled to Cameroon to escape the forceful conscription, have recounted their ordeals in the hands of the insurgents.

A Cameroonian police officer told AFP on condition of anonymity that: Weve been flooded here in Mora by Cameroonians and Nigerians fleeing Boko Haram. The day before yesterday (Friday), there were already more than 10,000 people in Mora. Not a day goes by without more people coming.

The number of internally displaced people in Nigeria and those who have crossed its borders into Cameroon, Niger and Chad because of the militant violence has been increasing, with no end in sight to the insurgency.

The United Nations humanitarian office (OCHA) said on August 5 that Boko Haram attacks have forced nearly 650,000 people from their homes in the North-East states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has said that nearly 11,500 fled Gwoza, also in Borno State, when militants seized the town on August 7.  Boko Haram has since declared Gwoza part of an Islamic caliphate.

Cameroon registers  displaced persons

The Cameroonian police officer said registration of the displaced persons had begun in Mora, while the nearby town of Kolofata had seen more than 6,000 arrive.

People are everywhere: in schools, under trees and in the markets, he added.

Theyre all coming from Cameroonian and Nigerian villages in the Kerawa area.

Kerawa straddles the border and has come under attack in recent days by Boko Haram, forcing the residents to flee on foot.

Cameroon state radio said the withdrawal of its soldiers had led to a mass exodus of civilians, adding that more than 6,000 people had taken flight and were now based in the Kolofata state school, with 2,000 others around Mora.

Gamboru Ngala residents, who fled across the border to the Cameroon town of Fotokol, said on Saturday that the militants had begun to kill people like chickens, despite initially targeting only the police and military.

The spokesman for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Maiduguri also claimed militant fighters had carried out atrocities against Christians in the town of Madagali, in Adamawa State, but there was no independent corroboration.

Cameroon security sources said Gamboru Ngala was bombed from the air on Saturday night, but it was unclear whether it was a Nigerian or Cameroonian air force operation.

The terrorists operating on several motorcycles stormed Gamboru and moved from house to house, searching for youths who refused to flee after last Mondays attack that claimed 25 lives.

Gamboru is a border town, and 138 kilometres North East of Maiduguri, the state capital.

Just last Thursday, a group of terrorists invaded Jibwhuwhi and Dalwa villages in Hawul Local Government Area of the state killing 14 residents before setting ablaze their houses, shops and churches, as there were no military troops despite outcry by the residents of Hawul on the continuous attacks and killings in the council.

Youths resist conscription

Over 200 Gambouru youths have, however, resisted forceful conscriptions by Boko Haram as they fled to the Cameroonian border town of Fotokol and three other villages yesterday morning.

The youths, according to one of them who remained anonymous, fled because they did not want to be conscripted by the Boko Haram sect to fight both the Nigerian and Cameroonian troops in the border areas and in Gambouru town.

According to one of the youths: I had no alternative, other than to join my colleagues by dawn yesterday to flee for our safety. These gunmen had been telling us to join them to fight our soldiers here and at the borders with Cameroon and Chad; after promising us some money and rifles to do the work of God. But some of us decided to take our fate in our hands by fleeing to Cameroon. By noon yesterday (Sunday), about 215 of us converged on Fotokol with broken limbs and bruises, while fleeing to cross the River and bushes with desert tracks. Once they sighted you fleeing, they shoot you, as we have refused to join them, lamented the youth.

He said the targets of the insurgents were to forcefully conscript youths between the ages of 18 and 25 who are conversant with Gamboru  and its border areas with Cameroon.

They were asking all of us here in Cameroon to join them; and fight the soldiers, but we collectively decided not to, because these gunmen can never be trusted. It has happened not only in Gambouru, but most of the Borno towns and villages were attacked with the displacement of many residents and villagers, said the youth in telephone interview from Fotokol.

He said as they reached the border town of Fotokol, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jet hovered over Gamboru town three times, but due to the mixture of innocent civilians and the terrorists in the town, and to avoid killing of innocent people, the fighter jet had to bombard an outskirt with plumes of smoke into the sky for ten minutes.

We had feared that the town was bombarded, by the military to reclaim our town, but one of my parents called me on phone that they were safe; and there was no bombing from the fighter jet that flew in Sunday (yesterday) morning, said the youth.

A military source, who spoke on reports that the terrorists raided communities around Gamboru, conscripting youths into their sect, said that it had been their strategy.  He, however, noted that strategies that cannot be disclosed were being worked out to handle the situation.

Aerial surveillance in northern Borno

Military sources in Maiduguri, yesterday, also said that the aerial surveillance in northern Borno was part of the military operations to reclaim the border town with Cameroon. The military source was, however, unable to give details of the ongoing military operations launched, yesterday.

A resident who prefrred to be and annonymous, who hid in a ceiling for three days, also said the terrorists had been forcing the residents to join the Islamist sects fight, while those who refused to join were shot dead or had their throats slit in the presence of members of their families.

According to him: Our people have no option other than to submit to Gods destiny and mercies. Since last Mondays attacks, we had been hiding in ceilings of buildings and underground water reservoirs without food and water. But the insurgents were adamant and ruthless threatening us to either be conscripted and fight against the troops in Gamboru or be killed, said the resident in a telephone interview yesterday.

On how residents were forcefully conscripted, he said: Since last Mondays attacks, these sect boys have been going from house to house in search of residents in hiding. Once they caught one resident, they would hand N5,000 cash and an AK 47 rifle and ask him to join them to fight the soldiers in Gamboru or risk his life

He said: Residents, who refused to join the insurgents, were summarily executed using gun or knives and swords.  He added that with the massive killings and threats, several youths had joined the insurgents in the last five days, after they captured the border town with Cameroon on Monday, August 25, 2014.

Supplies of food and water, he said had been cut off, as the insurgents had already destroyed the Dikwa-Gambouru/Ngala Bridge last June, while the 102-kilometre Mafa-Dikwa-Gambouru road was a no-go area as the insurgents have taken over the border route to Cameroon.

Confirming the continuous presence of insurgents, a security source in Maiduguri yesterday said  that after killing 27 terror suspects in last Mondays attack, those that survived retreated into the town to join those who were hiding among residents.

This was why, it could take some time to reclaim this town, as the insurgents had been adopting guerrilla warfare by living among residents to prevent being hit by the military, said the source, yesterday.

Meanwhile, there were indications in Abuja weekend that the latest of the set of fighter aircraft ordered by the Federal Government with which the armed forces will launch a final onslaught against the Boko Haram terrorists would start arriving the country this week.

This information came just as Vanguard gathered that security forces were set to launch a counter offensive against Boko Haram insurgents who have established a new camp at Gamboru-Ngala, a border community with Cameroon with a view to sending them back across the border where they were initially based.

It was gathered that the sect members fled to the Nigerian side of Gamboru-Ngala, a community that extends to Cameroon following the air bombardment of their camp by the Cameroonian air force.

On the fighter jets, military sources disclosed that the aircraft which are capable of carrying out night operations will enhance the operations of the soldiers after softening the ground by the bombers adding that they were purchased directly by the Nigerian Air force.

Another set of aircraft which are also fitted with modern equipment such as the Shilka guns for the army would also arrive very soon to fast-track the Boko Haram war.

Confirming that enemies within the security forces were helping the terrorists in the insurgency battle, the source said some disloyal troops pass on strategic information on operations to the insurgents.

For instance, It was learnt that when an operation for bombing is being prepared, some insiders pass on the information to the terrorist that their area will soon be bombed and that it will be safer for them to leave the area. That is why the bombing by the air force is not having much impact on them except on few occasions when the operation is planned secretly.

The source added that the analysis so far made on the weapons recovered from the insurgents does not show that they are superior to those of the armed forces as claimed.

Wait for the true story of my romance tale with Peter Okoye of P-square- Munachi Abii

*MunaFor most ex-beauty queens, the challenge of sustaining the tempo after their reign has always been difficult. But the story is different for Munachi Abii, former Most beautiful girl in Nigeria.

A combination of beauty, brains, and talent has kept her in the limelight. In this interview, she reveals how Banky Ws Lagos Party remix helped her gain recognition as a rapper and other interesting things. Excerpts:

By Kehinde Ajose and Anu Tella

What prompted your decision to do music professionally?

I have always wanted to do music professionally. My mum used to sing but she didnt go too far with it. I come from an artistic family. I didnt want to be that person who didnt go anywhere with the music. My brothers and sisters are all into some form of arts. I just found myself there.

If you didnt win the MBGN, would you have been an artiste?

Yes, I would have still been doing music. My ride to music could have taken a different approach. MBGN took me from level one to level five.

Most people start from level one and begin to climb. In the Industry, there are a lot of ups and downs.

I had to collaborate with a lot of people so that people would get to know me. When things become slow some people can handle it while many others cant. I couldnt handle it because first, there are too many fake people in this show business that dont know what they are doing.

Secondly, there are individuals who talk a lot and dont have any action to back it up . Thirdly, we dont have the right environment and stability, so artistes usually dont have something to fall back on.

This thing called music is like a gamble. So, after the experiences I had, I really had to step back in order to stage a comeback. It will always be music for me .I am still climbing .That is how it has been so far.

A lot of people didnt take you serious when you opted for music . How were you able to grow the thick skin to be able to withstand the pressure?

I had a thick skin when I came in. This is the honest truth. If you are not surrounded by good people insecurity starts to creep in. That is how everybody here is. They are always looking at other people instead of focusing on what they are out there to accomplish .The people around me were not helping me. I am not blaming them too as well as myself.

When you say people around you, what do you mean?

What I meant was that everybody thought their own craft was more important than the other persons craft. Singers would tell you, Why are you rapping? You should be singing while rappers will tell you :Why are you trying to sing? You should stay true to yourself. Be loyal to the rap game.

Its a constant struggle if one doesnt have people that are confident and who believe in you even when you dont believe in yourself. Its going to be very hard for you. Its similar to what happened to me.

The fact that people didnt take me serious when I started they didnt know what I would be up to .I didnt care about it because I knew what to do. The story changed with Lagos Party remix .People didnt really know who I was , but they liked me .They would say, Thats Muna? Are you serious? So people started paying attention from there.

How did you get on Lagos Party?

Banky W saw me rap somewhere and he said, what are you doing? That was my wake up call .He said:You should be doing this, there is so much you can do So that inspired me. Banky called me up and told me he wanted me on his album .I was actually just meant to do the skit. Lagos Party was played and I was asked to do rap on it. The rest is history.

How did it help you gain acceptance?

It helped a lot because it was like my show -off period because people now saw that this girl could rap. She is not just a pretty face. Its one thing to do that, and its another thing to follow up with other stuffs. Its not been easy but I expect to grow from there.

How where you able to go beyond the Pretty face stereotype?

At first I felt like discountenancing the pretty face toga. I thought I needed to just show off the talent and ignore the pretty face. At that time I didnt want to be associated only with the fact that I have a pretty face. If you asked me then, I would tell you just call me Muna and dont attach the MBGN prefix.

I just wanted people to know me and my music . I later realized that when I did, it put me on the defensive . This is something I had to learn along the way. I realized that in order to break free from anything, you have to accept the truth. The truth for me is that I am a beautiful lady. I had to accept the fact that I am beautiful, and use it to my advantage. So what if I am beautiful? So what if I can rap?

I am a beautiful rapper, I am a beautiful musician. People want to see that. The first thing they want to see about me unfortunately is my look. They see the look and they look into the content.

Would you say your beauty has been a blessing to your career?

Yes, I will say so.

How has it been a blessing?

I won a pageant and that opened doors

How did you get to the point when you started believing in your craft?

I nearly reached that point, then I stopped .You lose confidence in yourself; There are times it happens to great people. I am a woman, I happen to be my mums heaven and earth so I take care of her.

There is so much politics in the industry. Its not as easy as one thought it would be, secondly there are a lot of people in there that dont make it easier for you and there are a lot of people that wont believe in your music so you have to be strong .I wanted to know what exactly I wanted to talk about in my music .I have talked about owning Benz and Porsche that I dont have which everybody talks about.

Thats good for the club, but the question is can everybody relate to that? If I tell you about my struggles, somebody will relate to that. I am sure there is a young budding female rapper somewhere writing her rap and hoping that someday she will get noticed by someone .There will be a time when she will not believe in herself .There will be a time when she will say :You know what? Forget everything.

When you say there is politics in the industry what do you mean?

You see, there is politics everywhere .When I say politics I mean biases. Take for instance sports, everybody focuses on football, these days. Its difficult for you to find a child that would say I want to represent Nigeria in gymnastics at the Olympics. Soccer is it for them.

But on the flip-side there is so much more that can be leveraged on. You can show that there is a market for these sports by focusing on them , but when the focus isnt there people will think there is no market for it .

Its a challenge when you are a high jumper but there are no platforms to show your talent and you have to go away to look for where you can practice your craft .Isnt that sad?.

We need to embrace all kinds of music. We cant all focus on high -life because its what is reigning right now. Its okay to have one or two hi-life songs and make them timeless but lets embrace other genres of music.

As a multi-talented individual, how have you been able to maintain balance?

Being a model comes naturally to me. All one has to do is to keep yourself in check, dont add weight. Being a model is something I can do with my eyes closed. Music is something I have to work on constantly.

If you are not a model and a rapper what else would you love to do?

I love to cook and thats something I will like to go into. I also love fashion. I dont really know what the future holds for me, but the little impact I can make would be fine for me.

What qualities do you admire in a man?

I like a man with a good sense of humour. I like a kind person. Generosity wont hurt?

Are you not considering the state of his bank account?

When I like somebody its not about what I can get from the person. Its not about the money.

What will you consider as your greatest achievement?

I havent had my greatest achievement yet .Life is my greatest achievement .I am grateful to be alive. I thank God for my life .Everyday is an opportunity to do something again.

What part of your body gets you the most attention?

That will be my face.

If you were to start all over again what would you do differently?

I wont listen to people for the most part, I will listen to myself.

Who do you consider as your celebrity crush?

My celebrity crush will be the Indian actor Shahrukh Khan

Whats the different between Muna the celebrity and The Muna behind the cameras?

When you come out in the public with photographers ready to take pictures, you have to put up that face. You become a different person. People dont approach me. They just have this preconceived idea about you .

That is how rumour spreads. People think because you look a certain way, you will be a snub. When I am outside I am working, its a show and I know the cameras are going to be there I have to present myself in a certain way.

How do you handle controversies?

When you dont have the right public relations, they could be a problem. Back in the days , I heard things like :Muna is dating this person, doing this and that The last time I read what they wrote about me, was may be in 2008.Every other thing you want to know will be addressed in a song.

There was a time when you were said to be dating Peter Okoye?

You know its funny. Its just one of the things that wont just go away. I intend to respond to all this with a song so watch out for it .I always get asked this question in every interview .Its better to ask him too.

Are you satisfied with your music career at the present?

Yes, I am happy that I am working again. Im not afraid to put my heart into the music this time around .

I am speaking from my soul .Any how the music comes out, I will be happy with it. I dont need anybodys approval this time around. You may dislike my music. Its okay , but the fact will be that it came out.

Whats new about Muna?

I just dropped a song called Winner. Its a club banger and will also be dropping another song with Lamboghini. I will be doing my own stuffs too back to back.

You often call yourself the goddess and the hustler. Can you explain why?

The goddess is the way I look , my disposition, my countenance .I am not a river goddess o. I like to feel some air of royalty.

The hustler is who you are seeing right now- no makeup, am just chilling and am hustling from place to place doing my work .The hustler is the rapping side of me, the Behind the scenes part of me .Two different personalities but the same person.

What is your relationship with other female rappers ?

I am very pro- female .I love Sasha, she is a strong woman. Eva is a hustler, Fresh Carter is my baby .I love them and we support each other .I know that we are women going through one struggle or the other and I can relate with that.

What stands you out as a rapper?

I guess I am the only rapper who has ever been a queen .Thats one thing and its a prominent thing. How many beauty queens in the world rap? None. There is always a first. In addition, I am a conscious rapper .I love to talk about the issues people dont want to talk about. This is the first time I will be coming out to say this.

Has any of your songs been inspired by a personal experience?

When Waje and I did So Inspired, it was a personal experience from both of us obviously.

Have you ever been heartbroken?

Yes, a couple of times.

How were you able to handle it?

After a while, you move on. Thats the best one can do. You cannot kill yourself. You just move on and wont feel it anymore .Time is a great healer.

Can you quit music for your relationship?

I have thought about that. Would I ever stop doing music because of my relationship? I dont think so. Whoever I am with, if he really loves me, he wont advise me to quit .He would push and make sure that no matter how much I want to give up on myself, he would encourage me on .That is how to know if it is real.

Do you think sex sells in entertainment?

Sex sells everywhere. I dont think it should be the only thing we should talk about. its okay to talk about sex if thats your forte, if that is what you do .Do what is comfortable for you, that is the most important thing. If you are comfortable with your sexuality and you feel like you want to share it with the world, by all means go right ahead

What is your definition of a sexy woman?

Confidence is sexy, not pride. There is a very thin line between pride and confidence. When you are confident, you look better, you feel better, you communicate better, and everybody loves that. If you are not confident you will be sad and angry all the time and guys dont like that .Its not about just the looks. No matter how big or small you are, confidence is what drives anybody close to you

Oyakhilomes divorce splits Christ Embassy members

Looks like members of Chris Oyakhilome's Christ Embassy church are divided over his split from his wife Anita who filed for divorce a few months ago on the grounds of 'unreasonable behaviour' and 'adultery'. On a Facebook page called 'Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome, some members are putting their pastors and church on blast...

Yesterday, one member wrote
"I am a Christ Embassy member. I hate one thing there: How can a pastor be working together with a lady hand in hand, attending meetings and lodging in a hotel for days. My girlfriend travels with our branch pastor annually for PPCF which holds in Lagos. Only God knows. Continue...
Another one wrote;
"Pastor Chris Oyakhilome must have been discovered compromising his marital bed business. It is what it is. God says judgement will start from His house. Touch not my anointed is Gods instruction regarding all His children, not an individual nicking, scheming, threatening monies off peoples purses and telling them that salvation is tied to tithes and that seed sowing is only money donation to the church/pastors coffers. One down, more to roll. Christ be praised.
Another member of the page wrote
" I and my family left Christ Embassy for our own good after worshiping there for three years plus and seeing all the things going on under the disguise of church. And I can comfortably say that for over a year now, we have had so much peace in our Christian lives. I dont care how you view my comment but truth must be told.

Joseph Osagiede, however, responded saying the Oyakhilomes were still together. He said,
I have been in Christ Embassy for 12 years. All is totally well with thier marriage. All those wishing them to split and also those going about saying nasty things about the church, be careful. Faith Ebunoluwa Adetayo also said, I have been in Christ Embassy since 1990s and I can authoritatively say some things: I have seen the power of God work, demonstrated in healings and many other things. I have seen how that Pastor Chris is less concerned about mistakes we make. He believes that these sins of the flesh will disappear, only if we listen to the word of God. Rather than condemning us, he speaks words of encouragement. And for your information, Pastor Anita is still very much in the ministry and shes with her darling husband.
Meanwhile, the Christ Embassy has kept mum on the divorce case.

A woman, who picked Punchs call to the Nigerian office of the church on Saturday, said she had no information to give on the matter. When asked to confirm if the divorce suit was true or not, she simply said, I have no information to give on the matter.

When another call was made to the church thorough another number, the respondent, who identified herself as Pastor Christabel, said the church had no information about the case. No, we have no information on the matter, she said.

Do you agree that Kim K and Beyonce have revolutionized our generation's view of what beautiful is?

Speaking with Access Hollywood last week, actress and singer Demi Lovato, 22, said Kim K and Beyonc's famous curves have helped refine beauty and made a whole generation of women see it is not all about being skinny, making it easier for women these days to accept and embrace their full figures.
"When I was growing up and when I was a pre-teen, the people that I had to look up to for body image were extremely underweight. They were all very bony at that time and that was the in thing. But now I'm glad I have curves and role models to look up to that also have curvaceous physiques.
'I really credit women like Beyonc and Kim Kardashian, they completely revolutionized what our generation's view of perception of what beautiful is and I really think that they had a huge impact on that." Demi said. You agree?

Late PH doctor knew diplomat had Ebola Virus Rivers State Govt

At a press conference on Friday evening August 29th, Rivers State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Samson Parker, said that late Dr. Iyke Enemou, who treated ECOWAS diplomat Olu Koye (pictured above), was aware that Mr Koye had the Ebola Virus Disease.
"He had received the late Dr. Patrick Sawyer in Lagos. Upon developing the symptom, confided in a female colleague, called Lilian, who contacted the late Enemuo. It was after contact was established with Dr. Enemuo that Olu Koye flew to Port Harcourt to see him. To conceal his movement, Koye, who had been quarantined among other people for having primary contact with the late Dr. Sawyer, the Liberian-American who transmuted the Ebola virus into Nigeria, sneaked out of the isolation unit where he was being observed and took a flight to Port Harcourt and switched off his phone so that he could not be reached or traced should he answer a call. Continue...
When he got to Port Harcourt, he checked into Mandate Gardens Hotel in the Rumunokoro area in Obio/Akpor LGA which is close to Sam Steel Clinic where Dr. Enemuo worked.
"From what we have gathered so far, Dr. Enemuo, knowing that Koye was positive of the Ebola virus took some measures of precaution to protect himself while treating Koye.
Knowing the enormity of what he was doing, Enemuo upon Koyes departure for Lagos, poured bleach all over the room that Koye slept in order to sanitise the place.
The commissioner revealed that Dr Enemuo, after falling ill, asked another doctor at Good Heart Hospital along Evo Road in G.R.A. to treat him, but at no point did Dr Enemuo tell his colleague that he may have contracted the Ebola virus, instead he lied that he had fever.
"He lied. He did not tell the doctor that was treating him his full story. But the doctor, a nice and conscientious professional, suspected that Enemuo was either hiding something or was suffering from a strange ailment because he proved negative to malaria, fever and typhoid fever.
To be sure of what he was doing, he spoke to other very experienced doctors about the strange case he was handling in his hospital.
The commissioner said the doctor treating Enemuo even invited some other doctors to come over to his hospital to see if they could understand Enemuos strange illness but no doctor came.

Dr. Enemuo's health deteriorated until he died on August 22nd after which his body was taken to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
