Here's what Sunil Grover feels about Shah Rukh Khan's reaction to his Gerua act on Comedy Nights With Kapil

Shah Rukh was left so overwhelmed by Grover's performance that he went on to hug the actor.

Stand-up comedian Sunil Grover says it was a special moment for him to perform the Gerua act in front of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his team of Dilwale on TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Grovers hilarious performance on the romantic Shah Rukh-Kajol track Gerua left the Dilwale cast in splits.
"It was a great moment, biggest stars were sitting right in front of me and performing. I would call it one of my good performances," said Grover, who is popular by his screen name Gutthi.

The actor credited the script and conceptualisation for his act. "It was not only my performance, there were external factors also like the reaction of people, song conceptualisation, etc. Everything put together it worked."
The 38-year-old actor was speaking on the sidelines of a show in which he performed in Panaji on the New Years eve.
The actor's act saw him painting himself red on the stage and imitating the 50-year-old star on the Dilwale special episode of Comedy Nights With Kapil.
Shah Rukh was left so overwhelmed by Grover's performance that he went on to hug the actor. Grover said it was Shah Rukh's 'greatness' to allow him to hug despite being painted orange all over.
"That was his greatness and that made the act memorable. He allowed me to hug him. That is gratefulness and that is why he rules the heart of people," he said.
Sunil Grover who's more popular as Gutthi, says people also accept him in various roles as a man, which shows his versatility.
"I am happy being a woman (on screen). That is not a problem for me. But I am happy that people also accept me as a man (on screen) which means I am an actor who is accepted in various kind of roles despite my funny character on screen," Grover told PTI.
He said after doing funny character and a funny role (in Comedy Nights with Kapil), people are accepting me in serious roles, that is making me happy. "It is a challenge for audience than for me (to accept me in a serious role)," the 38-year-old actor said.
Sunil also said that he is comfortable in being anyone else other than himself. "I am more comfortable in being someone else. Whether it is (wearing) salwar kamiz or policemen suit, a bikini or a shorts, anything would do," he said
