Signs Youre Dating The Wrong Person
That your current relationship isnt what you had dreamed for yourself? If so, then these are probably feelings you want to explore further. Here are eight signs that you are dating the wrong person.
Youre not Happy
This is a great place to start. Someone who is dating the right person consistently enjoys the relationship and feels a general sense of happiness. Were not saying that they wouldnt argue or be upset with their partner occasionally; even the healthiest couples do that.
You Dont Feel Good about Yourself
In addition to feeling happy, a person in a good relationship usually has a positive self esteem. Sure, they will have doubts and insecurities, and they may even deal with some bigger questions about themselves. But the time they spend with their partner will make them feel better about themselves, not worse.
The People you Trust Urge you to Get Out
If the people you trust and are closest to feel that youve found a good catch and therefore encourage the relationship, thats a good sign that you two may belong together. On the other hand, if the people who love you the most are begging you to get away from someone, then that persons probably not the one for you. Of course, sometimes your friends and family may choose someone for you who isnt a great match.
You Find yourself Constantly Thinking about Someone Else
Its not always the case that a person is wrong because of some sort of character flaw or personal defect. Sometimes, the problem is simply that the person isnt someone else.
You Find yourself Denying Facts you know to be True
This is the old river in Egypt problemyoure swimming in de Nile. And it can happen to all of us. We know something is true, but we just cant bring ourselves to see it or admit it. Maybe you dont want to believe something negative about your partner, or you want to ignore the fact that all you two ever do is argue when youre together.
The Cons of Staying Together Outweigh the Pros
A cost-benefit analysis can be helpful in situations other than at the office. Sit down for a few minutes and write down the advantages of continuing to date the person you are with. Then list the disadvantages.
Your Instincts are Saying get Out
As a general rule, voices inside you are there for a reason, and they ought to be listened to. Sometimes an inner voice may tell us that weve found our soul mate, or simply that we should continue to pursue a relationship until we discover how fulfilling it can be.
You Already Know the Truth
It might be the case that at this point, you really dont know whether you are dating the wrong person. If so, then you may want to continue the relationship for a while longer so you two can explore whether you should be together.

Pastor Kumuyi Bans iOS & Android Devices In Deeper Life Church
The founder and the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has revealed why iOS (iPads, iPhones) and Android devices were banned in his Church some weeks ago.
A lot of criticisms had trailed the decision of the pastor to prohibit the use of smartphones in his Church.
However, according to Encomium Weekly, the ban was placed by Pastor Kumuyi because the members of the Church were pretending to read their Bibles, but instead they were surfing the web and not paying attention to the sermon.
The headquarters of Deeper Life Bible Church is situated at KM 42 on the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria.
Pastor Kumuyi is the author of several books. In the early 1970s Kumuyi worked as an education lecturer at the University of Lagos.
He was born into a Christian family in Erin-Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria.
William Kumuyi completed his secondary school education in 1961, and in 1962 started teaching mathematics at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun-State, from where he proceeded to the University of Ibadan. In 1967 he graduated with a first-class honours degree in mathematics. He became a born-again Christian in April 1964.
Kumuyi remarried in October 2010 in London, about 18 months after the death of his first wife.
In April 2013, Kumuyi was named as one of the "500 most powerful people on the planet" and Deeper Christian Life Ministry named as "the Worlds largest Megachurch" by Foreign Policy magazine.

Why Single Time Between Relationships Is Important
Why Single Time Between Relationships Is Important
Instead of spending your single time in-between relationships being miserable, invest it powerfully. We would like to present some great life-coaching strategies, which have helped many people tremendously. 3 questions to ask yourself during your single time between relationships:
1. What did I do right?
By asking yourself what you did right during the relationship, you acknowledge how much youve learned about being a good partner. Its an opportunity to measure your personal growth instead of playing the blame game, which always pollutes your next relationship, whether you realize it or not. It doesnt matter if youre blaming yourself or your guy: Blame is toxic to all relationships, even the one you have with yourself.
- What were you better at this time than in previous relationships? (opening up, trusting, communicating, being more loving, etc.)
- Were you supportive of him / her? (trusting, encouraging, showing appreciation, etc.)
- Did you establish and enforce healthy boundaries, ensuring you were treated respectfully and speaking up if not?
Congratulate yourself on the things you did right. Youll be able to measure your progress and become a better partner each time.
2. What were the challenges?
By taking a look at the challenges of past relationships, you identify patterns and specific qualities you want and those you want to avoid in your next relationship. Be honest with yourself to make the most out of your single in-between time and visualize a relationship without these challenges.
- Did one or both of you have too-high expectations?
- Did the relationship feel one-sided with one of you investing more than the other?
- Were there conflicts that caused irrecoverable harsh feelings?
3. What can I work on before my next relationship?
This is where being single between relationships can take on a new, powerful meaning. When you gain clarity and learn new ways of communicating, you begin to attract a different type of guy. Its the law of vibration. Think of yourself as a magnet. In an emotionally healthy relationship, a confident guy is attracted to a confident woman. In an unhealthy relationship, an insecure guy is attracted to an insecure woman because he subconsciously feels threatened by a woman whos comfortable with herself. If youve been in that position or seen it in a friend, you probably agree.
- Do you need to release past emotions that keep you attracting the same type of guy / girl?
- Could you develop more quality gal pals to stay more emotionally balanced and connected?
- Would establishing healthy boundaries help you to have more confidence in yourself?
To sum up, pain, anger, resentment, joy, love, happiness, and all other feelings are emotions that are in our subconscious mind, thinking differently will only work temporarily, and on a surface level. That means at some point, those emotions stored from other relationships are sure to raise their ugly heads. Truly releasing them is powerful and gives you a brand-new start.
Why Morning S*x is Better Than A Cup Of Coffee
Lets start the day with some sexy fun? Havent ever considered making love first thing in the morning? Lets look at some of the benefits of spontaneous wake-up sex:
Starting the day with love.
While saying I love you to your significant other first thing is definitely wonderful, physically demonstrating that love is so much more personal, poignant and powerful. Not only are you starting off the day connecting on an emotional and physical level, you are showering them with love and gratitude while thoroughly enjoying every part of each other. Both people are then beautifully armed with toe-curling, tingly love to send them on their way for the day.
Get our workouts in first thing.
According to WebMd, sex burns about five calories per minute, not to mention isolating and working certain muscle groups. Thats four more calories per minute than sitting down and drinking a cup of coffee. And people who are more sexually active tend to work out more in general, which then in turn aids in their sexual health.
A plethora of health benefits.
After a restful nights sleep, I know that I try my best to start the day by arming myself with every health advantage possible to fight off toxins, viruses, bacteria, stress, pain, etc. that we encounter and experience in every day life.
Gives us something beautiful to reflect on throughout the day.
I know that when my day starts off stressful, the rest of the day tends to follow suit by haunting me with the memory of the stressor. When my day starts off with a loving, sexy encounter, I find myself reflecting and daydreaming, with a smile, and a sense of giddy anticipation for seeing each other again.
Fights off stress and depression.
Sexual arousal and orgasms release feel good hormones that serve as chemicals in your brains pleasure and reward system.
Fresh your mornings be loved
What better way to start your morning than to be kissed by your beloved! Making love in the mornings is the most rejuvenating way to begin your day. It leaves both of you lively and full of energy. Experts confirm to this, when they say that your energy levels in the morning soar twice as high when you have been loved, than normal.
Let there be love in the air
Make love early morningPsychologists point to the fact that when you begin your day with making love to your partner, the lovely feeling and the bliss shared, remains with each one throughout the day, providing reassurance and a secured feeling of just being there.
Get that facial glow and lustrous hair
Love your partner, the first thing in the morning, and whoa! get that killer glow for both of you! Sex in the morning is proved to be a great inner cosmetic! It will make your face glow and your hair shine and thats because there is an increase in the production of estrogen and other essential hormones.
An alert mind
Yes, you tend to be mentally active and alert, after a great lovemaking session with your partner early in the morning. This is because after the night slumber that lasts for almost eight hours, a rejuvenating active session alerts your brainy nerves and keeps them on-their-toes!
Smile at work
Getting busy in bed, the first thing in the morning, will set your feel-good hormones pumping and you will enter your office with a smile on your face, making it much easier for you to put up with whatever hassles your day brings.
Whats your opinion about morning s*x?

Nigerias Security Situations Dont Affect MeBasorge Tariah Jnr
Basorge Tariah Jnr is a well known creative artiste, comedian, actor, and choreographer. He also loves arts and he is not shy to express his love for this. He recently revealed his real self and identity to Joy Akosa of HotNaijaGossip.com in this exclusive interview.
In three words, describe yourself?
Down to earth (even in my pursuit for excellence)
If you weren't a comedian, what would you be doing?
I am not a comedian, I know I can be referred to as a comedian, but calling me a comedian is like underrating me. I am an artiste, a creative artiste and an entertainer. It hurts when people look at me and say he is a comedian, people should know that I am not only a comedian, but one who has respect gracefully for all the platform of entertainment; as a dancer, a choreographer, actor, a film producer, a writer, a journalist, a comedian and as music producer.
At what stage in life did you know that this is what you want to do?
I have always know since when I was a teenager. I have entertained, if you have read and researched me, you will know that this is my 30th year in entertainment. When I am talking about 30 years in entertainment, I am not talking about 30 years with flirting with the idea, I have spent 30 years as a performer in the highest level.
What were your most embarrassing moments?
Well, my wife had a surprise party for me and I didn't know it was a surprise party. In fact, I didn't know it was my party, they brought the cake I didn't still know it was my party. They put the cake in front of me, I thought they meant I should pray for Tee A's wife. All these while, they thought they have brought me for a surprise party, they were happy I was sited, I thought my wife was busy running around for Tee A's wifes party, because Tee A and I are best of friends.
Where do you hope to be in the next 10 years?
I would still be living in this country, hopefully if the country will not chase me away. I will still be a father and a husband, and I will still be alive and relevant for speaking up for the thing I believe in and the art I have practiced all my life.
The security problem in the country, how does it affect your business?
It does not affect me, this is where I live. You can see there are no fences here, so nobody comes anyhow because this place is tight, so it does not affect me, but that doesn't mean it won't affect me if I walk on the road, I mean in terms of robbery, or in terms of chaos. What will my opinion change, if you ask me I will say it is the way of the society and the system of government that they refuse to provide and offer employment to youths. Young people have created themselves with business and they hardly see government contribution.
How do you see the entertainment industry?
The industry is just like every other, what matters to everybody is how much we can get out of it, nobody is thinking of how we can institute it for a life time. When we started, we thought of how we could plan the industry so that young people can have better days, but now, young people only think about tomorrow, everybody is just fighting for what he can get, it is all about flaunting what you have, what you say, that is not what life is about.
Are you planning to do a live concert?
I will tell you frankly right now, it is not in my head. I used to think about it that I will do a live concert, but it is not in my head. What am I doing a live concert for; to showcase me? Why will I want to showcase me, I have achieved everything, I just got back from Dublin, where I was honoured. Some of my awards have come from across the country. I was the third to receive AME awards for the best comedian in New York, all expenses paid. On Facebook, or through internet search, you will see some of my pictures with some government persons from the Republic of Ireland. I stood there and spoke for about 10 minutes, I spoke about the relationship between I and my country. At my age, this is the kind of thing I want to be doing, to be able to act as an ambassador, to encourage young people. Why am I doing shows? to collect gate money? What am I proving? I own a Bachelor of Arts degree in Choreography, I am a choreographer by qualification. Way back in this county, when I used to dance, I won competitions, I almost won at the nationals, I have acted in one of the finest movies in my time, I have interpreted roles as low as house boys, to well cultured gentle man. I have directed successful movies, I have written and directed my own movies.
My comedy still rates as the best comedy ever, I have MCied and anchored most of the state events. I have done comedy when I was a very active comedian, no comedian can stand on the same stage with me. The reason why I don't want to do comedy is because there is nothing more to get funny about, I don't want to be funny in wield languages. I want to be funny in an educative way, my children are grown and they are in good schools, if they still see me do comedy, like some street Warri boys, I have not showed them education. I will not make money at the expense of my family and at the expense of my name, and my integrity and at the expense of the development of education of society. In other words, I am saying we have nothing to prove, you don't see me in some stupid red carpet. Now I can go and have fun with my friends, speaking frankly so that young people out there will learn. I will ride Okada, drive a bus and do whatever I want.
What are the challenges in the entertainment industry?
Lies, no integrity, I am fearless, they are full of lies, people who know nothing who pretend to know a lot. People who just think about earning money and not being a role model to young people, we are like civil servants. How many of them will come and operate a piano when performing? Fake. How many of them can play the instruments? Since you see these actors, how many of them have acted in one movie abroad? How many cameramen is his picture celebrated around the world? How many of us have invented things, we hear Nollywood 25years, 30years, we still can't record sound well. We are just stagnant, whether comedy, music or acting which is drama, so we need to check these things.
What would you say to young people who want to be heard and wants to be like Basorge Tariah Jnr?
If they want to be the me that is popular, I will tell them to go and sit down, but I am a man of my own, I am down to earth, a caring husband and father. I don't hit women, I am hardworking. I strive for the best, so if you want to imitate me, imitate these aspects. Just keep on working and you will get there.
Girl In Trouble: The Rough Guy I Slpt With Knows My Boyfriend
I'm in a very good relationship with a very good, fun, loving man. Let's call him Francis, though that's not his real name. He's 34, I'm 28, we've been together for about 6 months now. Everything is perfect, we are both committed to building a future together. But something happened recently and I'm afraid it's about to cut my joy short.
My bf's elder brother recently had a housewarming party and I attended the party with my man. Only to get there and meet another guy I had been intimate with in the past! His name is Steve. To make matters worse, my boyfriend knows Steve very well and he even introduced me to Steve at the housewarming party as his woman. Turns out Steve is Francis' elder brother's friend!
I had gone clubbing with girlfriends. At the club I met Steve, he was really nice, he bought me drinks, we had a good time, I got carried away and ended up being drunk and hor-ny in his car. The rest is history.

To make matters worse, my boyfriend knows Steve very well and he even introduced me to Steve at the housewarming party as his woman. Turns out Steve is Francis' elder brother's friend!
What happened between me and Steve happened way before I met Francis. It was at a club in Enugu, a one night stand...
I had gone clubbing with girlfriends. At the club I met Steve, he was really nice, he bought me drinks, we had a good time, I got carried away and ended up being drunk and hor-ny in his car. The rest is history.
All I remember is that when I woke up the next day in Steve's house, I was mortified at what I had done. I practically took off and that was the last time I saw or heard from him till that day at the housewarming party.
I'm afraid that my future with Francis is in trouble. This is his brother's close friend. I'm afraid that this guy may talk to someone about that incident and somehow, Francis will get to hear of it too.
So, I've been very worried. Should let Francis know, no matter how little, that I ever had something to do with Steve or should I just keep quiet?

Relationship Matters: Headship Entails More Than Providing Money
I have said this before in one of my last years post. Being the head as a man doesnt just
mean being able to bring money and give to your family. That is just the only obvious part
of your job we get to see. But the role of a man in his home is deeper and more physically and spiritually demanding than what some think. Hence we advice, your age as a man shouldnt drive you to get married if you are not mentally, physically and spiritually ready
at least to a more than average percentage. As the head, you have the eyes, ears, nose, mouth and brain and these organs play very vital roles in the physical, spiritual and mental state of your family or marriage. Marriage as a man is beyond bringing money for food and school fees, please get that fact. There are times you have to create to hold family meetings with your wife and kids, talk with and to them generally. Have discussions
with your wife, table pending matters and discuss them objectively and pay attention to
each others ideas. Discuss with your children and make them your close friends and let them be able to confide in you. Learn with them and be willing to listen to them even if what they say is full of nothing. Make out time to discuss their academics and let them discuss issues bothering them as kids freely with you, the ones you cant handle direct them to God.
Please sir, create time for bible studies with your family, if possible let everyone be given a
responsibility during the studies. Let everyone partake and learn at the table together. Hold hands and pray together. The act of praying is not for your wife alone, that is your major role as the man, they are all following your precepts.

You are the spiritual leader and high priest of your home, pray and be the warrior and valor
man. Encourage your wife in the place of spiritual matters. Never say the church is for women while they pray for you, you go make money. That is lack of wisdom in display.
Come down to know how your wife is truly doing, sometimes a lot of women wont speak
their minds except you persist with love and a woman who is able to pour her heart out for
you and you give her that attention, she can take a bullet for you.

family movies, sing praises, dance to good music in the sitting room together even if there is no party. Pray for yourself as a man, create time for one on one talk with your leader (God) without him your headship is meaningless and you would lead astray.
So many things to say,let me just stop here..Have a blessed day ahead

How dad turned me into a robber Suspect
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a gang of armed robbers who specialised in robbing traders and commuters in the early morning hours at the Iyana Oba and Badagry areas of Lagos.
Members of the four-man gang are Bode Oladejo, who is said to be the ring leader, Christian Opene, Matthew Nwachie, and a yet-to-be identified member, who the police said was still at large.
Our correspondent learnt that the police received a tip-off about the gang, and the Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, directed the Special Anti-Robbery Squad team, led by Abba Kyari, to go after them.
It was further learnt that the gang members were arrested on Sunday, June 15, in the Ajegunle area of Lagos after they had returned from an operation.
The gang, our correspondent gathered, had raided a house on Tona Eradiri Street, Ajegunle, the previous day and dispossessed a man, Mr. Godwin Perebor, and two ladies of N285,000, two Automated Teller Machine cards and their companys Identity cards, among other valuables.
It was learnt that the suspects told the police that they usually went to peoples houses at night with weapons such as guns and cutlasses to rob them. They also confessed to have been preparing for another operation on the Sunday they were apprehended by the police.
Twenty two-year-old Oladejo, who hails from Oro, Kwara State, said, he took to armed robbery because of his fathers irresponsible attitude at home which had also frustrated the family.
He said, Since I was 11, I have been tearing peoples nets at night and breaking in to steal their property. I started to do this because my father had been irresponsible at home. Then, we were staying at Ikorodu, Lagos.
At a time, the landlord sent us out of the house because my father did not pay up the rent. He travelled to Ibadan. My mother stayed back in Ikorodu. I became a street boy, trying to fend for myself. Since 2003, I have been robbing. It is all because of my fathers irresponsible attitude.
I was initially using machetes to rob until I got a gun from one Monday. He sold the gun to me for N30,000. I usually robbed around the Iyana Oba and Okokomaiko areas. But I came to Ajegunle for an operation on that fateful day on the invitation of a gang member, Christian.
Oladejo also confessed that he made about N50,000 on each robbery operation he participated in with the gang.
The second member of the gang, Opene, from Oghara, Delta State, said he invited the gang to rob Perebor, who was also his co-tenant, because the latter offended him.
He said, Godwin (Perebor) and I used to work in a factory in the past before I joined the gang. At that firm, one of his friends poured hot water on me during a quarrel. I asked Godwin to take me to his house, but he refused, joining sides with his friend against me.
When I joined the gang, I remember the incident and decided to teach him a lesson. That was why I arranged for them to rob him and two other ladies.
The third gang member, Nwachie, a 20-year-old from Isele Ukwu, Delta State, said he took to stealing since he was 16, and had robbed several passengers and traders.
He said, I was only using cutlasses. It is only Bode who carries a gun. With the money I realised, I took care of myself. But I also used my loot to smoke, drink and to have sex with women.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, had yet to reply a text message sent to her telephone number as of press time.
Vitiligo is not contagious Expert
In this interview with MOTUNRAYO JOEL, Consultant Physician/Dermatologist, Department of Dermatology, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Dr. Onyekonwu Chinwe, speaks about vitiligo
What is vitiligo?
Vitiligo is a disorder characterised by the development of white patches on the skin or mucous membranes of affected individuals as a result of the destruction of or damage to the pigment cells (melanocytes) responsible for skin colour. This condition may lead to severe psychological distress and reduced quality of life, especially in dark-skinned people because such patches become more noticeable. It is impossible to predict how much of the skin can be affected. In the majority of cases, the affected areas remain affected for the rest of the persons life.
What causes it?
Melanin is the pigment that gives the skin its characteristic colour. Vitiligo is caused by a loss of pigment in the skin, due to destruction of pigment-forming cells known as melanocytes. The exact cause of the destruction of these cells is not known. One possible explanation might be that the bodys immune system destroys the cells, as in other autoimmune conditions. Several theories have been suggested but the current thought is that each of these mechanisms cumulatively contributes to the disease process.
What are the symptoms of vitiligo?
Vitiligo signs and symptoms vary considerably from person-to-person. It is by far more perceptible in people with dark or tanned skinned. Some people may only acquire a handful of white dots which develops no further, while others develop larger white patches that join together affecting larger areas of the skin. However, people with vitiligo are usually well. Vitiligo is not sore or itchy. However, the appearance of the skin can be distressing, particularly if the face or the hands are affected. There is no natural protection from the sun in affected areas of skin. This means that skin affected by vitiligo burns much more easily than normal skin if exposed to sunlight.
How is vitiligo diagnosed?
The diagnosis can be made in the clinic but in some situations, there may be need to carry out some investigations including taking a surgical specimen of the skin and sending it to a pathology lab. Some other skin conditions may sometimes mimic vitiligo and so, when the attending clinician is unsure, it will be best to refer such an individual to a dermatologist.
Who gets vitiligo?
Millions of people worldwide have vitiligo. Nearly half get it before they reach 21 years of age. Most will have vitiligo for the rest of their lives. It is very rare for vitiligo to disappear. Vitiligo occurs about equally in people of all skin colours and races. About half the people who get vitiligo are male and half are female.
What treatment options are available?
Several treatment options exist. Some of these treatments date back to several decades ago and with improvement in the understanding of the disease, newer treatments are evolving. The type of treatment will depend on the extent of the patches, whether it affects a small area or the whole skin. There are a wide range of helpful drugs (including creams that can be applied to the skin) and non-drug therapies also exist, but it is important that people who develop this condition should visit their health care provider early for prompt initiation of treatment.
Is vitiligo infectious? What is the relation between leucoderma and leprosy?
Vitiligo is neither infectious nor contagious. Leucoderma actually means white skin and there are several conditions that could lead to white skin. It is not synonymous with leprosy. Although some cases of leprosy may present with white patches, there are other forms of leprosy that will not show any pigment loss at all.
Can one marry a person with leucoderma?
Leucoderma is a wide term that could mean a lot of things and yes, why not? People marry for so many reasons and I do not think there is any law prohibiting marriage to someone just because they have white patches.
Will the vitiligo patches spread over time? Will they get larger?
Spread of vitiligo depends on several factors including what type of vitiligo the person has. Some cases may spread and get larger and a few may stay within the confines of the initial patch or even reduce in size, over time.
What is segmental vitiligo?
Segmental vitiligo is the type that usually affects one side of the body; it is commoner in childhood, involves hair changes with whitening of the hair and does not spread rapidly. It affects only about 10 per cent of people with this condition. But unpredictably, segmental vitiligo is more noticeable in the early ages affecting about 30 per cent of the children that have been diagnosed with vitiligo.
What is generalised vitiligo?
In generalised vitiligo, the individuals are usually older, the patches affect both sides of the body, the hair may not be involved at the initial onset and it spreads rapidly to involve wider areas. This type of vitiligo may occur in patients who have other diseases called Autoimmune Diseases.
Do people with vitiligo transmit it to their children?
Although vitiligo may run in families, the inheritance is multifactorial. That means there is a mix of several factors which all add up to cause vitiligo in affected individuals. There is no gene that is isolated alone that one can say this is the main cause and therefore transmitted to the children.
What happens once a person develops vitiligo? How long does it last?
The duration for vitiligo is not uniform across all individuals. It depends on what triggers it and other associated conditions or diseases. Some may progress very fast once it is noticed while some others may linger for years before involvement of other sites. It may occur in childhood or in adults and age of onset can vary from as early as in infants of a few weeks old to the elderly population.
Can vitiligo be cured?
There is no known way to prevent or cure vitiligo. However, several methods, including cosmetics, re-pigmentation using UV light therapy, corticosteroid creams, depigmentation of unaffected skin areas, and skin grafting, can be used to improve the appearance of skin severely affected by vitiligo.
Are there things that a person with vitiligo should avoid?
Essentially, especially in our environment, it may be better to avoid unnecessary sun exposure to avoid the risk of skin cancers, although this does not occur commonly.
If a woman is pregnant and has vitiligo, will her child develop vitiligo?
There is no documented scientific evidence that a pregnant woman will transmit vitiligo to her unborn child as may happen in certain diseases like HIV infection.
Is one at greater risk of skin cancer because of my vitiligo?
There may be an increased risk of skin cancer but the evidence in support of this is moderate at this time.
Are cosmetics which have been manufactured to cover vitiligo spots safe to use?
Yes, they are. There are several camouflage cosmetics that are available.
What is the relationship between vitilago and leprosy?
There is no relationship between vitiligo and leprosy.Vitiligo is a disease of as yet, undetermined cause. Several factors have been postulated as to the cause of vitiligo. It is neither infectious nor contagious. Leprosy is an infectious condition caused by a bacteria. It is contagious and can lead to severe disfiguring sores on the body and damage to the nerves. Some complications include loss of fingers and toes and other deformities.
Alao-Akala, Accord Party reply APC on decaying infrastructure in Oyo State
A former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, yesterday in Ogbomoso asked Gov. Abiola Ajimobi to stop blaming previous administrations for the poor state of infrastructure in the state.Alao-Akala, said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in reaction to a statement by the Oyo State APC. The former governor said Ajimobi should rather brace up for the challenges of governance and accept responsibility for negligence. The APC statement had blamed the past administrations of Alao-Akala and Rasheed Ladoja in the state for the decay in infrastructure.
The states APC Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, had on Sunday claimed that the Ajimobi administration inherited decayed infrastructure from previous administrations. You will recall that 26 bridges collapsed in Oyo State during the August (2012) flood. Between the governments of Ladoja and Alao-Akala, you cannot point to any meaningful construction of bridges carried out by them. Worse still, the dredging of rivers and streams and the de-silting of same were alien to their governments. It is no wonder that bridges, streams and rivers, left for years without adequate care, started giving way, leading to the flood witnessed in the state, he said.
Alao-Akala, however, said his administration embarked on the construction of bridges to check flooding in the state. How can someone who has spent three years in office continue to blame his negligence and woes on past governments? My administration constructed a new bridge at Itamoko in the Ogo-Oluwa Local Government Area within a few weeks of the collapse of the bridge. There is also the other one at Odo-Oba area of Ogbomoso, to mention only a few of those constructed by my administration.
The project for the construction of the Apete bridge had been awarded and re-awarded to different contractors in the last three years. Certainly, Alao-Akala and Ladoja are not the contractors, he said. Also speaking to NAN, Mr Bashiru Lawal, the Chairman of Accord Party in the state, said the Ajimobi-led administration must take responsibility for the decaying infrastructure in the state.
He decried the poor state of public utilities in the state, saying incidents of collapsed bridges in the state were becoming worrisome. Ajimobi was sworn in as governor in May and the Apete bridge collapsed in October of that year (2011).
How does that concern Alao-Akala and Ladoja? Lawal
6 injured as rival NURTW factions clash in Ibadan
THE fragile peace that reigned between rival groups in the National Union of Road Transport Workers Union, NURTW, in Oyo State for the past three years was ruptured weekend as six persons were injured during alleged attack on a former Chairman of the union, Alhaji Lateef Akinsola, aka Tokyo.A source said about 20 suspected thugs arrived the scene brandishing several dangerous weapons and allegedly attacked Tokyos supporters who were outside. The fracas, which threw the whole Agbeni area of Ibadan, into frenzy was said to have occurred between supporters of Tokyo and the incumbent Chairman of the union, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde aka Fele. Expectedly, both sides were accusing each other of having triggered the chaos. While Tokyo alleged it was Feles that attacked him, the latter said his boys who Tokyo mentioned were at a programme at the 2nd Ramadan lecture of Alhaji Arisekola-Alao which held at the NTA, Ibadan.
Fele said, We had met Alhaji Tokyo on several occasions and we never attacked him. We are not violent union again. We will continue to maintain the peace in the state. Tokyo was at the residence of Sheikh Haruna Suara, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland on an invitation when the incident happened. Tokyo said, I was at the Chief Imam of Ibadans residence to honour his invitation with some of my supporters when they attempted to kill me. My supporters were attacked while I was being attended to by the Imam in his house at Agbeni area of Ibadan. He added that if it were not for his supporters who were outside, he would have been killed. Among those injured were Bashiru Saheed, Agboola Rasak, Liadi Akande, Rilwan Akinsola and Alani Adaramola. But Fele argued that his boys could not have attacked Tokyo as he claimed. We appeal to the state government to call him to order so as not to plunge the union into another avoidable blood letting of the past.
Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officers, SP Olabisi Okuwobi Ilobanafor said suspected thugs attacked supporters of Akinsola popularly known as Tokyo. She said, The command dispatched combined police teams and Armed Personel Carrier to the scene to quell the violence and rescue Akinsola.
We are yet to make arrests because the place was very rowdy and we have to stop that first and later make arrests based on identification by the witness.

Revealed: How Jonathans 3m-dollar gesture backfired on Eagles
President Goodluck Jonathan had good intentions when he ordered the sports minister, Tammy Danagogo to fly over $3.5m to the Eagles to pay the players their World Cup appearance fees. The players had demanded their share of the $8m that fifa would pay the Nigeria Football Federation as one of the World Cup finalists. They protested before the match against France and even refused to train for a day over it.
FIFA was yet to pay Nigeria their World Cup bonus but the team, fearing that they might not be paid when FIFA pays the NFF protested and wanted theirs in advance. We gathered that after Senate President, David Mark, contacted the Presidency over the problem in Brazil, President Jonathan ordered Sports Minister to take money to the team in Brazil. And in a Presidential jet, the minister landed and handed the money to Stephen Keshi, the coach. Keshi asked that the money be given to the team secretary Enebi.
The sharing of over $3.5 money, we gathered, took its tool on the team on the eve of the round of 16 match with France last Monday. Who gets what? They continued debating and arguing on the sharing formula till 2.00am on the match day.
The Presidents intended good gesture backfired. Did you notice that the players tired out in the dying minutes of the match and conceded two goals,a source with the team asked yesterday.
There was no way they could have been strong when they were fighting over money and could not sleep well and prepare for the match against France, the source said adding the fight over money destroyed the team and unfortunately the Presidents gesture backfired.
We also gathered that President Jonathan was aware that NFF had not received the money from FIFA but was sad that the federation failed to explain things to them and avoid the action that was going to tarnish the image of the country. The news that Nigerian players were protesting to the extent of missing training disturbed the President and he gave the directive that boosted the purses of the players but which didnt help Nigerias game against France. Problems will eventually arise as the players who played the qualifying matches but who didnt make the World Cup team were all entitled to the World Cup grant. But those who shared the money in Brazil were so much in a hurry that it was not clear if they included them.

A Must Read | 10 Things You Don't Know About Kissing
Wanna perfect your French kissing technique, or just want the basics on how to kiss for the first time?
Follow these kissing tips the next time you're ready to smooch. 1. Find the Right Time to Kiss
The best time for a first kiss is when you're alone, there's a pause in the conversation and you're both looking into each other's eyes. Help make this moment happen by finding a way to get away from the crowd, standing or sitting close to your partner, making eye contact and letting the convo come to a natural breaking point. You'll both know when the moment is right.
2. Don't Obsess About Your Breath
Your breath doesn't need to be any more minty fresh than your kissing partner's. (For instance, if you both just had dinner together and ate equally garlicky meals, you'll be fine.) Bring some mints with you, but don't pop them obsessively. It's not necessary and it'll make you look over-eager.
3. Start With Your Lips
The first thing that comes to mind when you think about french kissing is tongue, but that shouldn't come right away - you'll have to ease into it. Start just by lightly kissing their lips (either their top lip, their bottom lip or both) with yours.
4. Don't Make Your Tongue the Star of the Show
A kiss without any tongue at all is perfectly fine. But if you want to take it to the next level, open your mouth a little wider, gently touch your tongue against theirs, and let the tips of your tongues "play around" together. Don't do much more than that, though. When it comes to tongue, a little goes a long way.
5. Use Your Hands Wisely
The best spots to place your hands are around your partner's neck or waist, on the back of your partner's head, or if you want to be extra-romantic, against your partner's cheeks. Never just leave them by your side! That would be a total waste.
6. Don't Forget to Breathe
Take regular breaks to pull away and look into your partner's eyes. It'll give you a chance to catch your breath and share a smile.
7. Mix It Up
Don't leave your lips or your tongue in the same spot for more than a couple of seconds. The initial excitement of a first kiss is thrilling, but things can get boring awfully quickly if you don't vary your style a little.
8. When In Doubt, Follow Their Lead
You don't need to be an expert on kissing to share a great kiss. If you're not sure what to do, just let your partner take over and go with the flow. As long as the two of you like each other and are concentrating on the magic of the moment, it'll go gre
9. It's Okay to Laugh
You might be tempted to laugh or make a little joke to ease the tension or hide some your nervousness. Go for it. Your partner's probably just as nervous as you are, and it'll ease the tension for them, too.
10. Know When to End It
If this is your first time kissing this person, keep things brief. There'll be plenty more chances to kiss, and you want to leave them dying to lock lips with you the next time.at.
Brazil, Germany march on at World Cup
FORTALEZA (AFP) Brazil defeated Colombia 2-1 and Germany beat France 1-0 in the World Cup quarter-finals on Friday to set up a heavyweight semi-final showdown. An early goal from Brazil skipper Thiago Silva and a stunning free-kick from David Luiz was enough to give the World Cup hosts victory over Colombia in a niggly last eight meeting in Fortaleza. Colombias star James Rodriguez left the field in tears after his sixth goal of the tournament, an 80th-minute penalty, was not enough to prevent Brazil from advancing to Tuesdays semi-final in Belo Horizonte. The victory came at a cost for Brazil, though, with captain Silva picking up a yellow card which will see him suspended for the clash with the Germans.
Star striker Neymar was also stretchered from the pitch late in the game, potentially creating a problem for Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari. Television station Globo reported that he had been taken to hospital to undergo tests. Silva had earlier settled Brazilian nerves, punishing slack Colombian marking at a corner to tap home after only seven minutes. Luiz struck an astonishing 69th-minute free-kick to put Brazil 2-0 up before Colombia fought back.
Rodriguez, the outstanding player of the tournament so far, scored a penalty to make it 2-1 after Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar brought down Carlos Bacca. But Colombia were unable to find the equaliser to force extra-time as Brazil advanced to the last four. Brazils semi-final will see them play Germany in a repeat of the 2002 World Cup final won 2-0 by the South Americans. It will be only the second time Brazil has met Germany at a World Cup.
Germany reached the semi-finals for a record fourth straight time earlier Friday after a header from Mats Hummels helped beat France 1-0 at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. Borussia Dortmund defender Hummels rose to head home Toni Krooss free-kick on 13 minutes to settle a cagey encounter. The next dream has come true, said man-of-the-match Hummels. Its unbelievable that its all going so well for us here at the World Cup. I hope that our journey wont end soon and that we can make it back to compete here week next Sunday, he added, referring to the July 13 final.
France coach Didier Deschamps bemoaned his teams failure to capitalise on the handful of chances they created. There was not much between the sides, Deschamps said. One team is more used to these occasions and has more experience. We were not clinical in front of goal. France had entered the match quietly confident of avenging semi-final defeats against Germany in 1982 and 1986.
But they were left to rue a lacklustre first half performance which saw Germany dominate in sweltering conditions. France rallied in the second half and Hummels saved Germany with a desperate late block of a Karim Benzema shot shortly before Manuel Neuer parried a firm strike from Blaise Matuidi.
Andre Schuerrle should have sealed victory in the closing minutes, but with the goal gaping, struck his shot from Mesut Ozils low cross directly at Hugo Lloris in the French goal. There was still time for Neuer to save Germany at the death, pulling off a brilliant block from Benzema just seconds from the final whistle.
The quarter-final drama continues Saturday when the Netherlands play Costa Rica and Belgium take on Argentina.
